Cut & Paste Drop down Panel script not working in Chrome or Opera

Hi There....

I am attempting to use this script (Cut & Paste Drop down Panel script - here: http://javascriptkit.com/script/scri...ownpanel.shtml) which blends in with my site design and addresses my need nicely. Have tested it on all main browsers and it works on most (Firefox, IE, Safari) but does not show the content of the panel in Chrome or Opera? The panel drops okay but no content is shown on these two browsers.

I am wondering if an additional script entry is required to get it to work on latter two?

Can someone help me?
Many thanks in anticipation

The demo works.

What does the author have to say?

Hi Logic Ali
Thank you for replying. There is no name for its credit.
Anyway, i have just figured it out now:
because I'm loading the file from my file system instead of from a server, Opera (and Chrome does the same) is setting my origin to "null" even though the resource I'm requesting is local. If I was to do this from an HTTP server such as Apache, I think it would work just fine. Both browsers will not permit access to local files for security reasons.
A python command would probably resolve temporarily the issue, but really is no issue....i just test using Firefox, Safari or IE 10 and see it working....i know once i upload the files to server Chrome and Opera will work too.
Thank you anyway for your interest.
Regards
