Cool Need expert help, same as example, broke in IE, perfect in chrome/FF, Jquery Spectrum

Need expert help, Javascript is same as example, but has error in IE, works perfect in chrome/firefox. Jquery spectrum() colorpicker

color picker example works perfect in Internet explorer, here: http://jsfiddle.net/bgrins/ctkY3/

Then on my test site, using the exact same css+js files it will not work on my site in IE: http://xekon.byethost7.com/

I have even simplified the example a bit. I cannot tell what the problem is, but I would certainly appreciate any help.

I inspected the source at jsfiddle but did not see anything being done differently.

Not to ask a dumb question, but... Why don't you ask the people who created spectrum.js?

By the by, it works fine in MSIE 9, except that when you click on the down arrow, the chooser appears further down the page, instead of in the same place.

I actually figured it out. I had to add this to the top of my page:

<!DOCTYPE html>

This validator is a great tool: http://validator.w3.org/

I have fixed the problem on my example page that had the issue, but before I fixed it by adding <!DOCTYPE html> it was completely broken.
