Trying to Add Graphic to Custom Blogger Template

I'm editing a custom Blogger template, have everything working except for one thing. If you look above my main body and sidebar, the top of it runs right up into the Blogger header, and I want to add a bar between the two areas to define it and I want the bar to look like it's part of the main body.

I can't figure out how to accomplish this. So far I've done the following:

I made a graphic and uploaded it. (It's ugly, disregard the color, please)

Here is URL - http://enfieldmemories.com/images/titlebar.jpg

Here is test website - I'm trying to put this directly above the main body and sidebar. I made the bar the length the same dimensions as the main area and sidebar so that it will hopeful look like it's part of it.

I hope I've given enough information, and please disregard colors, snowman, etc. I haven't edited any of this until I can figure out how to define that top area with this bar.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
