Csi?

Hi guys,
I have read the sticky about not asking for homework help, so if I break any rules then please remove this thread. However I do not feel as though I am breaking the rules as I am just asking what something means then I will do the research and construct the essay myself.

I have to write an essay on methods, procedures, functions that all follow CSI. I have no idea what CSI stands for, Google results just bring up pages about Crime Scene Investigation. SO if someone could tell me what it stands for I can do the rest myself,

Thanks in advance
Rob

Why not ask your instruct to define what it stands for so you can narrow your research?

is it maybe CSL? and the L was lower case or the font made it appear as a straight line interpreted as an 'i'? because a quick google on "CSL Programming" the first two hits refer to CSL c scripting language.... when posting questions about classwork (I don't think you are posting anything wrong btw) you should list what the class is so we know how best to answer... for example CSS web dev end stands for cascading style sheets whereas to someone in web security it can stand for cross side scripting.... two answers same acronym

This is the exact cause of the dreams you will have once you're out of school, where you've missed attending a course for an entire semester, but suddenly find yourself taking the final exam.

Seriously, if nobody's got the answer for CSI at this point, I'd say ask the teach or the assistant. It's not a normal acronym that everyone but you knows.

As per I am believed that CSI stands for Customer Satisfaction Index and it’s something that’s very, very important to manufacturers these days.
