CSS clickable only dropline menu that also works on ipad and mobile

I have been asked to create a clickable only ( no hover ) dropline menu, that will work on mobile devices and ipads.

I have the clickable only dropline working, but I cannot get it to work on ipad, kindle or mobile devices.

Is there a way to do this using CSS only or do I have to use some form of jquery. I have not been able to find a way to do this, for clickable only menus.

I looked thru stu nichols site, which is where I got the code for the clickable only dropline menu, but I cannot find further information on making it mobile friendly.

I have created one ages ago. It's still a little broken.. But it WORKS!!

If you click above "Mobile" there is a button, the image is broken I think. The button is in the blue header on the left hand side.

Sorry, I left out a few words in my post. The website needs to work on laptops and pcs, also additionally on ipads and mobile devices. Here is the current test site:

I did not design it, I am just trying to get it to work the way they want it too.

I had it setup and working on all forms of devices using hover, but they requested to have it switched to click only.
