Question Marrying MarkerClusterer and AutoSuggest jQuery Plugin?

Hey everyone!

Did a bit of research on the forum threads here and I could not find any solutions to my question. I have a page on our mapping portfolio which will showcase about 5,000 simple, quick maps we created for a client who works with Nationwide Insurance. In effort to add said maps into our online portfolio, I thought using a Google Maps markerclusterer "mashup" solution might work best. The work in-progress can be found here: http://www.mapformation.com/portfoli...nationwide.htm

Now that I've got roughly 80% of the records into the data.js file which drives the presentation (http://www.mapformation.com/portfoli...onwide/data.js), it is quickly becoming apparent that what is REALLY needed is a way to search for and display only partial records from the data.js file. For instance, I could type in "Johnson," and only agency names containing the phrase "Johnson" would be shown.

After doing a bit of research, I came across a solution that looks like it might work, Drew Wilson's AutoSuggest jQuery Plugin: http://code.drewwilson.com/entry/aut...-jquery-plugin That said, my JavaScript skills aren't strong enough to do the heavy-lifting in making this work (or some other comparable solution) ...so I thought I would see if anyone here might have any good ideas or suggestions.

Thanks for your time! - Derek
