Web and Mobile Applications Developer (Tyler, TX)

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and highly-motivated web application developer. As a member of our core development team, you will help us develop applications and enhancements for our online content distribution platform and other systems. You will also contribute to the R&D and build-out of future systems as well as help us refine our software development process.


Requirements:
• 2+ years developing highly interactive web applications preferably using Java, Ruby, and Ruby-on-Rails
• 1+ years mobile application development using Android and iOS
• Expertise in CSS, JavaScript/AJAX, web services, and code level HTML
• BS or MS in Computer Science preferred
• Proficient with Web technologies generally
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts
• C++ experience desirable
• Comfortable using developer tools and code repositories including but not limited to Eclipse, Firebug, and Git or Subversion
• Experience with audio editing and digital signal processing, MMO gaming and game programming, and network packet structures and packet analysis desirable
• Strong verbal, written, and team-oriented communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, with passion and interest in learning new technologies
• Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to work within ambiguous design constraints
• Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
• Sense of humor and enthusiasm
