Help with fixed tables

I'm having problems with the blog that I have set up here, using Wordpress.

The main page displays fine, but when I click to read comments, the table cells expand and mess up the design of the page. I've tried following tips for setting table widths, but they don't seem to be working and I can't figure out why. If someone could look at the page source and let me know what I've done wrong, I'd really appreciate it!

I set a simple width style on the links <img> to 100% and it spanned the column ok, the only problem is when I set that, there seems to be content jumping out of place in your two <col> elements either side of the main column.

I sent your HTML to the validator and it returned an abundance of errors.

Try getting it as near to validation as possible.

Regards,

LC.
