I have textarea on that form and for german letters I get, that is, could do on server:

s = s.replaceAll("Ã", "ß");
s = s.replaceAll("Ã", "ö");

But as you see I get same character for both ß and ö.

Any tip ?

Ok, obviously there is false claim, I get different characters.

but:

  s = s.replaceAll("Ã¼", "ü");
  s = s.replaceAll("ÃŸ", "ß");
  s = s.replaceAll("Ã¶", "ö");

does not look very smart, any other way ?

You have posted in the HTML section and this isn't a html problem. "replaceAll()" is not a javascript function. It is a jquery function, but this doesn't look like jquery. What is it?? Is it your own function?
