XML of Family Tree, Please, Help, Explain

I am trying to create, what is best described as a family tree, it is actully a flow chart that only ever has two answers to each branch, but i am having dificulty getting the software to understand it, or i have written it wrong.

Does anyone have any sample code which shows this relationship,

Normally one child will have two parents, what i need is 7 grand parents, which have 14 etc

Basically
7 great grand parents, each having 2 children
14 grand parents, each having 2 children
28 parents, each having 2 children
56 Children, each having 2 Toys

But the Toys can only follow the correct link back to the correct parents, grand parents, etc

Not sure if i have made this clear but i have included a small picture of the flow chart i need to convert to xml, its not complete but you can get the idea
