Where did the body of my question go?

I'm new here and trying to get help with a Pop Up message when leaving our site.

I posted my question in the JavaScript programming and the General web building forums. My post in the General web building got moved to the Java Script forum, so there are two post referencing pop up massage when leaving a site in the JavaScript programming forum.

However, if you click on one of the question titles, the question is no longer there. If you hover over the title of the question before clicking it you can see the question but if you click on the title nothing is there.

I don't know what in the hell is going on.

Thanks!

It means the moderator decided it was a duplicate question and removed it but the forum software the produces the list of posts hasn't yet noticed the removal and so the entry in the list of posts is still there.

It's something weird about this forum. I've seen similar stuff happen all the time.

For example, when somebody posts a SPAM message, and the message is removed, the list of posts will still show that the most recent post in the thread is from the spammer. I'm guessing that they don't do a dynamic SQL query to get the list of posts each and every time but instead regenerate the list on some sort of schedule and so you have "lag time" like this.

Correct, vB caches the recent post data, but it usually updates within a few minutes.

And FYI since you can't be bothered with reading our rules I'll just post the relevant one you violated right here:

1.2) Do not crosspost- CodingForums.com is divided into various categories. When initiating a thread, always locate the most appropriate category, and post your question only ONCE, in that category. Do not post the same question in multiple categories.
