Zend has its own inbuilt php parser but you can configure it to run with any existing php installation , phpdev included ..
is it any good ?
I would love to support Zend but if thats the best they can come up with ? ... one would have thought they could have found a C/C++ compiler somewhere knockng around and dumped JAVA and all the issues it brings.
+ the interface is far too crowded for me , unless you hide all the other windows & then whats the point ? ... Maguma Studio (google that) at least has detatchable windows to avoid the clutter.
If you want a debugger then its a useful tool (Maguma's debugger is very quirky in comparison) apart from that I give it 1 out of 10 , and that only cos I like all the other Zend products if not the pricing structure , its the (IMO) lemon in the basket.
