Lightbulb Web Server Cache

Can a webmaster Cache data from a web user to a web server? For example If someone visits my website, can my website record or cache data imputed in to a text box without a database. Is that data readable? If so, how?

Any time a visitor visits a web site, the visit is recorded in the site's log. So you can say that the data is "cached" that way.
