User-contributed vs. crowdsourcing? Correct vocabulary?

Hey all!

What is the difference between user-contributed and crowdsourcing? As in a user-contributed website or a crowdsourcing website.

I'm making a website for video game music concerts in the vein of VGMdb. Information about upcoming concerts will be input by any willing registered users.

I'm doing this as a bachelor's thesis and wondering which term I should use: user-contributed or crowdsourcing? I'm wondering if "user-contributed" is easier to understand. This is especially important for the title of the thesis.
