Little Help for a Beginner

I downloaded a web logo maker from ActiveDen. I'm new to Flash/Flex, but I'm trying to fool around with it to change what I need. I have it open in Flash Builder 4, but have been unable to figure out where and how to do even simple changes. For instance: I don't want to just make logos, but printable posters, banners, etc. Currently when the finished image is exported it crops to just the image size and I need to have the entire canvas saved. I also need to change the exported resolution from 72dpi to 300dpi. The problem is that I don't even know where to start looking for the commands the correspond to saving the project. I know this might be a difficult question without actually looking at the files, but I thought I'd give it a try. Thanks.

First, you are in the wrong section. This space is intended for Flex questions.
Second, Flash (and/or Flash Builder) is not a tool for printing purposes. It is focused for the web, where 72 dpi is the default (and only) resolution. Besides that, Flash is used mainly for animations, where printing is useless anyway.
Try Adobe Illustrator. Is that what you are looking for.

I'm sorry, but you misunderstood what I am doing. I have some ActionScript code that places a gui designer for creating logos onto a website. I want to use it as a template for creating a designer for printing projects.

ie. http://www.buildasign.com/PowerDesig...6F427338773D3D

The code I am using as a template exports the PNG file in 72 dpi and I need to export it in 300 dpi.

This is definitely not a task for Illustrator and I am in the right forum.

I'm sorry, I probably misunderstood.
Have a look here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6...ith-higher-dpi it seems kinda complicated but doable.
