Smile Need Help Making A Replacement shell

Hi, Everyone, Im New to the forum and I Have or Need Help on how to do this. I Have a replacement shell that iv been working on and i need help on how to add this stuff to it, Now my Replacement shell is in visual basic 6.0 but if its easyer to program it in a nother langrage that thats ok, Heres the list. Desktop elements, like Desktop, TaskBar, Tray, Main Menu, DDE
with its own Control Panel, tasklist, etc, and most of it can be skinnable though the interface and applications, and utilities filemanager Windows, Icons, Menus, Pointing Device and system monitors, a clock, a task, And I want to be able to add files to the replacement shell desktop just like windows dose, And what I mean about that is I want a text editor thaty you can save it to replacement shell desktop not windows, and a folder that i can make thow the replacement shell menu and you can open the folder and add files to it. I hop this makes sents please ask me any questions I will be glad to tell you more thanks.

That is a big task, why did you pick such an old language to develop it in? Or have you been working on it for a number of years?

I don't want to rain on your parade but you aren't like to get much help with such a big project unless you ask specific questions. Just saying you need to do all those things isn't really a question.
