difficult to describe scroll problem, please read and see site

difficult to explain my problem. I cannot write javascript I just know a little where to edit stuff.
This is a script dat allows to scroll with mousewheel without showing a scrollbar. Nice! It is a row of thumbnails that trigger a bigger image to show. But it jumps and scrolls too far which leaves an empty space in the page.

Anyone any idea how I could solve this..?

The distance that can be scrolled is a layout issue, and not determined by the script.
