Need Ticket Number generating and updating script using mysql & php

hi Frnds,

First of all I am happy to register in this forum as a new member....which has vast discussion threads & knowledge head who is helping solving them.

Now coming my request, As I am a stater with PHP, HTML, MYSQL & JAVASCRIP......so i need some help now to design on below

1) ticketing number generating script using PHP, once all the feillds are entered and submitted.

2) editing and Updating capability.

Now I request any one if they offered to share a scrip on the above or the process to develop.

I know we have lot of tools with above concept but what more intreasted is to learn the things in spite just plug and play....so, I hope you ppl really help on this .

What are you actually trying to do with the system? e.g. how much info are you going to want to update?

Is it just the ticket number or for example is it going to be a support ticketing system?

Hi probi,

This is going to be similar to a ticketing system...but I don't what to use already existing one like Ostickets or something ......is i want built up a pages which can create, update or delete information against a unique ticket number.
