Scroll bar always aligned to the top?

Hi All,

I have an app that uses some pagination for reading things like poems or short stories. The problem is, when I move from one passage to another on a different page, the scrollbar persists to where it was on the previous page.

My question: Is there a way to always make sure that a vertical scrollbar is always aligned to the TOP when moving from page to page? I'd like to know if there is a CSS solution to this, but what I have tried seems to be ignored (firebug strikes it out). Any help is greatly appreciated!

need code. If fire bug firebug strikes it out that means the css is superseded by css some place else.
