New Partition for HDD

Hi All,
I have a HDD of 500GB, and it has two Partitions(C & D) C is of 225GB i want to create a new Partition (E) of 100GB that i want to take from Drive C(Operating System also installed in this drive), Am using Window 7, What you recommend me for this?

start > right click "computer" > select "manage"
you'll see "storage" and inside "manage drives"

shrink your c patrtition and create new one in empty space. it will take some time obviously.
if this won't work for u then use gParted (http://gparted.sourceforge.net/)
it's free and good. comes as bootable disk image. can be usb or cd (good to have just in case )
