Switching from tabular design to div design

I've decided to go with standards and get rid of my tabular design and go with <div>'s. I am finding this pretty difficult. Is there a good tutorial out there, or can someone write a little walkthrough on here to help me?

Thanks

Well, perhaps you can give a specific example of what you are having trouble with?

Well, tables <tr> Defines a Table Row. I can't get divs to look like its a table, but be a <div>. This might seem stupid to the ones who can do this, I'm just having a hard to positioning them corectly, etc.

Well, Stevie, I am not sure how good you are at DIV (I have never used it, but did about 1 minute of GOOGLING), but Fallen Shades has a pretty good basic DIV tutorial.

PS-->Just wanted to remind you

CSS documentation

Nice one, OracleGuy!
SDP2006, also check out the sticky on HTML & CSS documentation on top of this forum; it contains a number of links to renowned sites dealing with various CSS layout techniques. If you can describe how your pages are structured and what kind of layout you're aiming for, I'm sure someone can give you more detailed advice.
