jQuery Menu Help - Changing Default Settings

Hey all - I'm not sure if I can post jQuery questions here (I'm not sure how different it is from JS), however, I don't see a forum dedicated so this is my best guess.

I am using the following menu:

On a new website:

However, I can't seems to figure out how to change the default animation for the navbar and remove the "bouncy" effect. Even though the site includes a tool that shows this to be very possible:

There are two JS files included at the top of my pages that I think should control this, but when I change values I can't adjust speed or anything. "jquery.sooperfish.js" includes a section called "sf.defaults"... but I'm stuck. Edits there don't effect my site:
