Streaming Server??
I'm building an HTML website and I want to have streaming audio on it. I am a Ham operator and want to stream the audio from a local repeater. I found a nice flash player that I can add to interface the continous audio. It's called ep player and I contacted the company for the best way to get the audio up to the website.
They replied with this:
Our player just plays MP3 files / streams so you would need someting that makes an MP3 stream from the audio.
Do you have a streaming server installed to stream the files to the player?
You will need this to get started...
So, that's what I need and not having much knowledge in this subject, I thought I'd see what some of the experts thought. What would be the easiest way to run a streaming server. Or if someone has a better way to get a continous audio feed to my website . . . thanks
