Crashing monitor (no kidding!)

Hi all,

I have a Dell SR2320L flat panel monitor.

I have the HDMI cable connected and the video card send both digital video and digital audio to the monitor. Then the audio output from the monitor goes to a stereo receiver (amplifier).

Every so often (every few days) I will find that I have no audio. The monitor also will not turn off (it has a "touch button" - not an actual switch).

I have to physically unplug the monitor and plug it back in to "reboot" it so it works again.

Anyone have any guess what could be wrong?

Thanks!
