Rich Snippets and SEO

Im trying to make my site trendstudiosorlando.com have better SEO. I read about rich snippets but when I put them in, it makes my layout go all crazy and it doesnt validate. Do I need to call something at the beginning? Is there a set formula to how I can optimize the SEO of this?
