Chrome -vs- IE8 discrepency

This website has a logo which has vertical spacing above it in IE8, but not in Chrome.

Why is this?

You'll need a username and password to view the page:

It looks to me like your background image is vertically centered, and if the browser window is taller than your background, you get white space above and below the background. Is that what you're seeing?

Woops.

The problem was caused by using the SEOQuake toolbar in Chrome, which pushed itself down into the page content, and wiped out the padding above the logo.

Thanks for your reply.
