I installed WordPress on my site in a subfolder as a blog engine. Now i need to know how to post a snippet of the latest blog post on my home page which is NOT built with WP or any other CMS. At present the home page is a static html page - but i know that simply changing the file extension will allow me to use PHP script. I know PHP can do what i need, i just dont know how to do it.
