Many thanks to you all. I have now managed to format my hard drive and my main Desktop is now OK. But I still have a problem with my New laptop. It has decided to re-arrange the icons on the desktop each time that I re-boot. Also at the same time the mouse has decided not to work. (Works fine on my other computers. Also other working mice do not work on the new laptop.)
Does your computer have DOS? As i know, If you have, choose Dos
1. From the sceen of DOS text: Format c: /s
2. Restart Ctrl + Alt + Del
