RESOLVED: DIV Slide with JS

Hello All, I have a bit of js attached (rename to html) that I want to insert into a page. The way that it's written the dropboxes appear and the footer on the page jumps down. I am hoping for a smoother transition. I tried to use the following jquery:

http://djpate.com/2009/09/29/div-sli...y-with-jquery/

but I found that I would have to break up my javascript in a different manner so that instead of the two different dropbox options becoming visible, only the selected dropbox would become visible. The goal is a nice, smooth div slide of all content on the page, when the necessary selections are made visible.

I am a novice and could use some direction, so any that can be provided would be greatly appreciated!
