htaccess question

Dear all, its my first time to use htacess file

i want to make my website with folders and sub folders using htaccess

examle:
http://www.example.com/folder1/folder2/about us

but it is my first time and i dont know how i can make this

please advice

This is done with mod_rewrite. You simply handle the pattern and pass it off to another page.
