First script, not working

I've tried to learn asp, but everytime I do this basic code, it doesn't work, so I give up. I've finally realized "CODING FORUMS!!"

Heres my code
Code:
<html>
<body>
<%
response.write("Hello World!")
%>
</body>
</html>
save it as hello.asp, upload it to my server, all it shows is a blank page....hmmmm

BTW, I have XP Home Edition. How can I install ASP and run it from my machine? Thanks to all.....

It sounds like your server doesn't support ASP. Who's your host?

As far as running ASP on your machine, you can't with XP Home Edition, you need XP Pro, which comes with IIS.
