I have redirected the website from a subfolder to the root. My reason for doing this is that it's much neater when all the files are together in their own folder.

Now the problem I'm having is that all the pages are still under the subfolder instead of under the root (for e.g.
http://www.rootdomain.com/wordpress/sample). I would like it to be
http://www.rootdomain.com/sample. Is there a way to change this? I've noticed I can also still access the website through the subdomain (
www.rootdomain.com.au/wordpress). I hear this is bad for SEO purposes. Is there a way to disable this?
I also came across another problem with the documentation, for some reason my website no longer seemed to have a stylesheet.
