How to bring opencart features into wordpress?

Hi all,

I'm so glad I found a forum like this one.

I'm building a website where in the root I have wordpress installed and in a folder opencart is installed.

As you know opencart has its own login, cart, search bar, product carousel etc etc.

Now in wordpress front page, I want to display the opencart searchbar, so people don't have to click store link to go and do a search..

The opencart search bar has auto complete ajax features too.. so I want to bring all of this into a wordpress "div" (I created an empty div in the front page to do this..)

Not sure if this is the right approach. Fellow coders please help me find a better way to achieve this...

I would like to show some of opencart features in the front page of my WP...

Help!!! How should I approach this?
