Form Inputs and the "Go" Button on Mobile Devices

I have a form with an input box that needs to work on the iOS and Android platforms. Once the user inputs the value, I just want the keyboard to close down upon pressing the "Go" button (or the "done" button). The output updates in real time, so there is no need to "execute" it.

iOS - After entering a value, the Go button does nothing on iOS. This is "OK", but it would be better to close the keyboard at that point.

Android - More problematic. If you press the Go button, the page refreshes (and removes the previous user input). Some users might expect the Go button to just close the keyboard. Again, can either the keyboard be closed or can the Go button just do nothing? Instead they need to the "done" button.
