Which one has more scope in programming??

please if you can suggest me that which one has more scope in wesite development......Php or ASP.Net

Both - it all depends on which type of site you want to create.

Bigger companies tend toward using .NET

Not quite so big companies often go with JSP

Smaller companies, clubs and individuals usually go with PHP

Of course there are exceptions.

Mostly its a matter of what the web server the site is going to be hosted on runs as its operating system - Linux is the most popular and most linux servers generally have PHP installed.

The bigger companies that use their own servers to host their web site generally run Windows and use .NET for other applications and so use it for the web as well. Of course there are lotrs of different languages that will run on .NET including PHP.

I suggest to go with ASP.net. There are more scope in web developing field.
