IE hates my site

I've been working on a website for a friend of mine and the site's looking good despite my basic knowledge of web design since I would never advize anyone to go to ITT.

The site looks good in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari but it looks awful in IE. The site is to go live (on it's actual URL) soon and I don't know how to fix this.

(ignore the contact page...I'm basically trying to learn the code off cssdeck)

Any help would be deeply appreciated

Have you tried fixing your coding errors? You dont seem to have a closing head tag before your <body>. Other browsers do a better job at guessing the coder's intention. IE doesn't do so well.
