Need Help With Small Change on Cufon Script

Hi,

I am looking for some help with a change I need on a Cufon script for a template I purchased to build a website. In this script its converting all the text to Uppercase. I know pretty much zero about Javascript, so i do not know how to edit it out. I require the script for other parts of the site so I can not just delete it. Any help would be great.

Even if you knew javascript well, you shouldn't touch this highly complex and compressed script.

It sounds as if your template makes it possible to use non-standard fonts on its webpages using cufon.

I think you need to either find out more about how cufon works (i.e. making changes not by altering the library file) or try other methods to display non-standard fonts.

I recently needed to display a non-standard font on some intranet pages and did it with CSS this way:

Hi,

I think I understand what your saying. I don't really want to use any non standard fonts and I have tried altering the different classes via CSS on the page however that file over-rides everything I do. If that file is called in the head it doesn't matter how I alter the CSS or fonts, they are converted in to some odd uppercase font.

I have bought templates before with pretty fonts that cufon makes possible.

I would suggest removing the references to cufon on a page and not calling either the js file or within the CSS.

Then replace the font on the page with something standard. However, when I did this with my template I had to do a lot of cludging to make the pages look right - it was designed around some special font.

Are you calling the .js files in the correct order?

...or maybe go back to the template seller!
