How To Stop Logo Becoming Pixelated

Hi
I need to redesign a logo but could use some advice. The logo is clean and simple which is how its meant to be. However i am designing it in a vector program but when i then save it as a png it becomes pixelated. What do i do to stop this happening? Any help would be great. Original logo is on the following site.

Firstly the png file should be saved out at the exact resolution it will be used on the web site, and then you should ensure that the file is not scaled at all via html.

If that doesn't work, show us the files and html, maybe someone can spot the issue.

You could also make sure that you are applying some anti-aliasing to the finished image file, but if the PNG you are creating is really small it will look pixelated no matter what you do....if you blow-up a 20px image to 60px it will look pixelated....like tracknut said, just export in the same size as the one you will be using on your site....

I have found that a 72dpi Jpeg with the background colour set has a much better appearance than a PNG.

Try and colour the background as the colour you want it, with the page dimensions set to 100% of what they are needed at... and then when you save out as a JPEG, make sure 'Embedd colour profile' is turned off else the colour may display slight off and will be noticeable on some screens.
