We are looking for a web programmer to code a new e-commerce website for Five Stride Skate Shop. The programmer must have previous experience with e-commerce platforms such as OpenCart. He/she will work together with our graphic designer to create the new website (design will be provided). We are looking for someone that is interested in maintaining the website up to date and adding new features as needed. We would prefer to use the OpenCart platform but are also open to other suggestions.
Responsibilities:
- Coding the new website design to open cart format.
- Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes.
- Suggest new features or new ideas for website.
- Be available to make updates to website on an as needed basis for basic site maintenance
Qualifications:
- Must have advanced knowledge of CSS, HTML, Javascript
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment via phone and email
- Previous experience with e-commerce
- Preferred experience with Open Cart
