If it's just text from a text file, just do the old 'copy' of the text and 'past' it into a text box that you create in Flash using the Text tool.

Flash will not read your HTML tags, is that what your asking? It won't read your formatting or any of that jazz -- only if you use a program such as Illustrator or Freehand, will it be able to import your vector art properly.

Flash is more of a print program for the web. It will only deal with formatting for text that is used in other print programs.

If you can, be more specific about what exactly you're trying to do, if I'm off on what your looking to ask.

That is not correct. The v5 player will read simple HTML 1 tags such as <b><i><a><font> and <p>.

No, you're right -- but I wasn't being specific cubeddesign wants a full HTML document loaded into flash. It's a little more advanced than just HTML 1 tags he/she's going for.
