Need to fix this for client

I'm not sure what's going on (I'm kind of new to coding.. I'm mostly just a graphic artist)

I'm building a website for someone, and for some reason it won't open up in Internet Explorer, but works fine in Chrome and Firefox.

Use Notepad++ for editing scripts and HTML.

It highlights things in color, and shows missing closing tags and missing brackets, etc.

Google: notepad++

That unclosed "comment" was very apparent when highlighted.
