Can anyone fix this newwsreader code?

I use Tiddlywiki (archive here - http://www.tiddlywiki.com/archive/) which is a wonderful simple wiki for personal use. It is written in Javascript and html.

There is a plugin for reading newsfeeds - http://tiddlywiki.bidix.info/#RSSReaderPlugin but it no longer works. I tried going back to the version it was originally written for but it still doesn't work. The last update seems to have been in 2008 so I'm guessing it is something about 2011 newsfeeds that it is not interpreting correctly? I contacted the author but he seems to have abandoned the project so I'm posting here as a last resort as the Tiddlywiki group hasn't got an answer either.

It doesn't seem a very complicated piece of code (but I don't do programming!). Can anyone suggest any tweaks to the code that might make it work?

When it works its great to open feeds within the wiki. And all it takes is one piece of macro code. For example - http://wikis.healthwealthandmusic.co...html#NewsFeeds - click view to see the wiki code.

I don't know that you should bother with it - although it looks like it once was a useful site. Reason? The site doesn't load at all in Internet Explorer 9. And the graphics are missing in other browsers. Pity.

Maybe someone knows of a similar wiki that is not broken.

Because it is an amazing personal notebook - the best one file Wiki ever. I'll post your experience to the Google group - sometimes you have to reload the page twice for some reason.

Everything is wrapped up in one html file so I keep it on Dropbox. Its flexible enough to hold any embedded content too. Yes it looks like a website but in fact it's just one file. And you can work on it offline or online. Cool or what!
