"Connery" is a last name (surname). If you wanted something in that vein you could go with "Conner" (or "Connor") instead. That is a Gaelic (Irish) first name.
Of course this assumes that you are male. If you are female then this name would not be suitable for you.
I recommend you ask for peoples opinions before choosing to stick to one. A common mistake Asians make when choosing an English name, is they chose one that is uncommon and looks stupid to the general population.
Of the names Flashdancer suggests I think only Charlie, Charles and Colin are actually common English names, as opposed to US/Canadian/Australian names - not sure whether the OP actually wants an English name or an English language name. I'd add Chris to that list myself. I cannot recall ever meeting any British person with any of the others.

I'll chime in for the US on this matter...
In my experience (for whatever that is worth) the only "common" name from that list within the confines of the continental United States is Charlie/Charles. I have only ever met one person named Clint/Clinton (not counting Mr. Eastwood). I have never met, nor heard personally of, anyone by any of the other names.
