How do I remove a computer virus ?

I make a virus upon my other pc and can not receive anti-virus directly to be able to it. I tried ClamWin however I'm considerably damaged technologically which I could not feel it installed on my personal affected computer.
Is there other portable applications/method to strip a virus on my computer with out use of web upon said pc?
Please, and thanks.

Download this and burn it to disk or usb: http://www.sysresccd.org/

it should be pretty straightforward to use, just choose to a graphical environment and then do a virus scan on the infected drives...

Note: Don't just click things you don't understand.... this disk has petitioners, data recovery, partition recovery and everything else included... so very very powerful. Read the documentation for things you don't understand and and if you still have issues ask on here!

I've never had any virus that could not be removed with MalwareBytes.

www.malwarebytes.org

Download it to a clean computer, burn it to CD, install on infected computer, scan.

NO NO NO.

1. since the virus is already on the computer the virus will obviously prevent the installation of any antivirus. Malwarebytes is the best disk based antivirus for fixing systems already infected by a virus.

2. Kaspersky tries to use about double the resources available on your computer once you do have it installed. This does prevent any viruses from being able to save themselves on your computer but only because the computer never gives you enough resources to be able to open any programs - it is all being used by Kaspersky (at least that was my experience of the Kaspersky virus a couple of years ago - it took lots of work to strip out all of the tendrils that Kaspersky installed into the two computers I loaded it on before I finally got them working properly again - Kaspersky deserves 10 out of 5 stars on the difficult to remove viruses list).

Use Anti Virus. If you have no important data in your computer then you can format disk and re-install your operating system.

And if MalwareBytes is prevented from installing, rename the installer "iexplore.exe"; that usually works.
