rounded background for class elements?

Hi,

I hope this is the right forum.

What I would like to know is if I must use an image for the following, or if css can do it.

When I assign a class to my hyperlinks so that the background is coloured; say #888888, it shows itself as a rectangle with square corners. Can I round off the corners using css or must i use an image as the background for the class element.

It would be nice if that could be done but at this point an image would be it I believe.

Seriously now

Okay, all kidding aside: is there any chance the Moz proprietary props find there way into some or 'other CSS standard - sorry, Recommendation?

It is - "border-radius" is part of CSS3 - http://www.w3.org/TR/2002/WD-css3-bo...-border-radius

But since it's still a working draft it may change before it becomes a recommendation. Hence the "-moz-" prefix - if the recommendation is different mozilla can still implement it without breaking their current one
