I've been building a website from scratch for a few of my music projects and I've been using a simple flash mp3 player called xspf_player (http://www.xspf-player.com/options.html
). I don't want people to be able to right click and download my tunes, which is an option in its custom context menu. For the life of me, I can't disable this, and I've tried parameter commands in my html as well as editing the player's associated action script (.as) file. Neither has any effect.
It seems to me that most flash .swf files can be reduced down to just 2 or 3 menu items by using parameter commands like <param name="menu" value="false" /> and menu="false" in the embed code like in this
example. xspf_player specifically advertises an ability to selectively remove only the download option from the menu but none of it seems to work.
Seeing as how I've already put this onto various pages and I like the way it works and looks apart from this one detail, I'd really like to be able to solve this issue...thanks for any help, and please accept this funny video as a token of my gratitude: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOvq3-oG5BM
