Question downloading a compiler for c++

Im really new to c and c++ programming and i need to download a good compiler for my computer. Does anyone know a link where i can download one for my windows vista computer?? Thanks =)

Downloading Visual Studio Express for C++ comes with a compiler. This is a popular IDE (and free) and might be what you're looking for:

If you're looking for a standalone compiler, GCC is always a good option: http://gcc.gnu.org/

visual basic is not good at all (my oppinion)
