I have set one of my website's folder's permissions to 777. Will there be any security problem in doing so?

Could depend on what is in that folder. Is there any reason you are using CHMOD 777?

Yes, I am using fopen to create a file, thats why i gave 777 permissions to my folder. If there are any security problems, please tell me how can i make it secure folder, and also files in it.
