Mobile webpage

Short question about a mobile page. I did this iPhone web page for a client few weeks ago, and she recommended me to another friend of her. This friend has a fashion online shop, and she wants a page for iPhone.

Now my question is: should I try to make it, or just reject? The purpose for a mobile web page is to load fast and go straight to the information, and many users even browse with the images blocked.

And how should I design a mobile web page for a fashion magazine? There are only going to be pictures on it, it's just not my style. What do you believe?

If you feel uncomfortable with it or think you’re not capable of handling it then just reject or recommend someone else for the project.

As to designing a mobile website (especially for iPhone) I doubt that the average iPhone user has images disabled or even knows how to do it. Design wise there’s not that much different than on regular websites, I guess, since mobile Safari just scales down regular websites. You have to optimize the images for best performance (small file size) while still having them look good. One thing you should look into is CSS media queries.

What about mobile redirect; how do you think I should do that?

I have tried so many things, modifying the .htacceess, using PHP and JavaScripts, it kills me, it almost never works...

Why do you need a redirect? Write semantic code and use CSS and its media queries to change the look for different devices.

Yes, I got I can do that, but what if the client wants a total different webpage? I would have design it and upload it ad m.site.com or site.com/mobile. Then I would need a redirect.

Sounds to me like you are guessing at what they will want without even talking to them first. Maybe they will only want contact info and not just a bunch of pics, but it's your job to educate them as to what works best on a mobile site.
