jQuery animation on IE8 causing missing content

Hello all,

I am new to jQuery but picked it up pretty fast. What I need hel with is an IE8 issue.

As you can see here pxlgk.com/sambreel , the white text box on the right shows up for firefox, chrome and safari. But, on IE8, the white box with text only shows up on the first load.

As you rollover the colored boxes, you'll still see the white box, but it is thin and has no words in it.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.
